I have been using headspace to practice mindful meditation. I was speaking with someone recently who I respect a great deal and they thought that the idea of "letting go" of emotions and not connecting them to yourself is damaging because it doesn't allow you to feel emotions. Their idea is that emotions are important to feel and express, and letting go of them is a denial of how you truly feel. Thoughts?
